...it has some intriguing recipes in it. I don't have any indication as to where I found it, but, today's recipes combines two of my favorite fruits..."pinnapple" and "cocoanut"!

Here's the recipe:
"Pinnapple Cocoanut Bars"
1 c. crushed "pinapple" not drained, 3/4 c. sugar, 3 T. cornstarch, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1 T. butter, 1 T. lemon juice.
1/4 c. butter, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 1/2 (cups?) flaked "cocoanut", 1 c. flour, 1 tsp. salt.
Mix first four "indegridence". Bring to a boil till thick & clean. Remove & blend in the butter and the lemon juice.
Cream butter & brown sugar. Add "cocoanut", flour & salt & mix till crumbly. Place 1/2 in bottom of 9 X 9-inch pan.
Add filling & place rest of crumbly mixture on top. Press down & bake in oven at 35 degrees (350?) for 30 minutes.
Enjoy!
