August 31, 1989 (Part V)

Note:  This is a series of journal entries from my two years living in Himeji, Japan (1988-1990).  I'm archiving them electronically through my blog.  Last names have been deleted and replaced with first initial only.  For details on this series of blog entries, see this post.

Yesterday (Sunday) we got up late and went to the club on base for brunch.  After that we shopped at the base stores, then went to Wurzburg to the fortress.  We walked through the museum.  It took about 3 hours, and was really neat.

After the museum, we came home, cooked dinner, then played Scattergories until bed.  It's a word game along the Trivial Pursuit line, and deals with categories (different ones)and you have to think of a word to fit the category that begins with the same letter, which is chosen by rolling a 20 sided die.  I got the most points out of 8 rounds (3 games per round).
